| 1.A Taiwan-Based, Commercially Validated Example of Recycled Filament Production RePONT processes all-polyester waste garments and socks collected in Taiwan through mechanical recycling and spinning, returning the material to recycled polyester filament applications. It represents the world’s first commercialized local circular implementation from recovered textiles to new textile products. 2.A Local Circular Supply Chain from Design and Manufacturing to Recycling Recovered feedstock, product design, manufacturing, and regeneration are all centered on Taiwan’s supply chain under a Made-in-Taiwan model. This shortens material traceability pathways, strengthens source transparency, and brings circular textiles back into real products and commercial orders. 3.All-Polyester Mono-Material Design for Improved T2T Feasibility The product range includes T-shirts, headwear, and socks designed with polyester-family materials, reducing sorting challenges associated with cotton, nylon, elastic fibers, and mixed-material trims. Mono-material design is not the only requirement for recycling, but it is a key design principle for mechanical textile-to-textile recycling. A simpler material composition supports more consistent recycled-material quality and remanufacturing stability. 4.Validation of Non-Depolymerization Recycling with Controlled Polyester-Family Formulations For polyester-family materials including PET, PTT, PBT, and TPEE, RePONT carries out recycling and filament-spinning applications without monomer depolymerization under defined formulation ratios, feedstock purity, and processing conditions. The process combines physical recycling with chemical decolorization where required. 5.A Practical Circular Option for Lower Resource Demand For high-purity and traceable all-polyester waste streams, non-depolymerization recycling can reduce the processing steps required by chemical depolymerization. It offers a T2T option that balances material reuse with process efficiency. Through recyclable product design, RePONT helps suitable textile waste remain within the material cycle. 6. Ongoing Patent Portfolio Development RePONT’s all-polyester non-depolymerization recycling technology is covered by Taiwan invention patent application No. 114142266, currently pending grant, with publication expected in January 2027. Patent filings in other countries are also in progress. 7.PIR × PCR for a Complete Material Cycle RePONT accepts both production-side PIR materials, including waste yarn, fabric waste, and garment cutting scraps, and post-consumer PCR materials such as waste garments and socks. By bringing pre-production, manufacturing-stage, and post-consumer materials into the same recovery pathway, RePONT keeps resources in the textile cycle and moves toward a high-value closed-loop system. 8.Third-Party Verification for Improved Traceability Relevant RePONT products and transactions can be supported by Intertek-issued GRS Transaction Certificate ITS-10127868 and RCS Transaction Certificate ITS-10127856, providing traceability information for recycled content and the supply chain. 9. Currently Available Recycled DTY Options - PET 75/72 DTY, off-white to light grey, RCS: 90% bottle PCR + 10% recycled waste garments and socks - PET 75/72 DTY, dope-dyed black, GRS: 85% bottle PCR + 15% recycled waste garments and socks **RePONT is not only about reusing waste materials. It begins with product design for recyclability, giving all-polyester textiles the opportunity to return to high-quality material cycles again and again** |
